　　《探魔导师》将背景设定在一个由十大财团控制的架空历史下的摩登市。洪冰瑶饰演的是个性别模糊能穿梭时空的魔导师T，因被迫卷入组织权利斗争，成为组织的牺牲品。T协助警察破案来实现自己的人生价值。在调查“人类失踪案”的过程中，T发现人类失踪与畸形科技“潘多拉”有关，该科技利用人类原罪使人类互相欺诈谋杀，试图让整个摩登市陷入混乱，随着线索一步步逼近，T渐渐意识到社会的种种混乱由十大财团操纵，一切的根源似乎直指给人类带来巨大益处的人工智能，一场人类与人工智能的生存争夺战由此拉开。

　　In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems. 　　Luna, a cruise ship chambermaid, has to quit her job to attend to her sick brother. While doing so, she discovers that her mother has gone missing and her brother's condition is getting progressively worse. The siblings desperately sneak into an empty condo unit but soon discover that Penthouse 77 is not what it seems.

　　A hit and run of an 18 year old girl becomes the hub of a wheel that sets into motion many a spoke - a journalist , a raging mother, a cop and a system all caught in an ethical dilemma. Questions raised only to realise that truth is rarely pure and never simple.
